Hope Jackson is an experienced advocate and campaign manager who serves as HRC’s Deputy Campaign Director, managing legislative and electoral efforts across the southern, mid-west, and mountain-west states. She began her career at HRC as a temporary organizer and quickly advanced because of her hard work and leadership.
Hope is responsible for the daily and long-term strategic planning and implementation of HRC’s organizing efforts. She works to strengthen HRC’s partnerships and coalitions nationwide. Dedicated to fighting anti-LGBTQ legislation, Hope develops strategies to advance pro-equality measures across the states. Her extraordinary commitment to her work has earned her organization-wide recognition.
Prior to joining HRC, Hope had a rewarding career as a bankruptcy and employment law attorney. Although not practicing, Hope’s commitment to social justice fuels the work she does every day in the fight for LGBTQ equity.
Hope received her Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Albany State University.
