Alberto Morales is national press secretary for special projects at the Human Rights Campaign. His work is focused on building new audiences using traditional and emerging media strategies.
Before HRC, Morales worked in the nonprofit world for 15 years, including serving as the director of communications campaigns at the New York Civil Liberties Union, where he started and oversaw a robust multimedia program that helped to deepen the NYCLU's impact across movements in the Latinx, Black, LGBTQ, disabled and youth communities.
He holds a B.A. in literature from Brown University and a master's degree in media studies from The New School.
