Summary: This resolution would ask the U.S. Congress to call a convention for the sole purpose of proposing a constitutional amendment providing that marriage shall consist solely of the union of a man and a woman and that neither the U.S. Constitution nor any state constitution shall be construed to require that marriage or the legal incidents thereof be conferred on any other union.
