Summary: This bill would allow the governing body of any locality that self-funds a health insurance program for its employees to extend coverage to any class of persons mutually agreed to by the locality and the policyholder.
Status: This bill was introduced January 9, 2008. On January 23, 2008, the bill passed the Senate by a 23-17 vote. The bill died when the legislature adjourned March 13, 2008.
