Same-sex couples live in every state in the country — and each state has its own organizations working toward gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality. To connect with the movement for fairness in your area, contact your state GLBT organizations and elected officials.

The GLBT community faces a crucial year in Minnesota in 2006.  With an open United States Senate seat, an open hotly-contested 6th Congressional District race, a contested Governor’s race, and crucial state legislative election, 2006 is a vital year to engage the GLBT community in the elections.  With the work of Regional Field Director Stuart Rosenberg, HRC is working with OutFront Minnesota and many GLBT allies and non-GLBT allied groups to help train volunteers on electoral, educational, and advocacy skills at the first ever GLBT Organizing Convention.  The Organizing Convention will take place on September 16th.  Want to help?
