About Us

As the largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans, the Human Rights Campaign represents a force of more than one million members and supporters nationwide — all committed to making HRC's vision a reality.

Founded in 1980, HRC advocates on behalf of LGBT Americans, mobilizes grassroots actions in diverse communities, invests strategically to elect fair-minded individuals to office and educates the public about LGBT issues.

HRC's Wedding Registry is a unique opportunity for couples to encourage loved ones to make a donation in honor of their wedding or commitment ceremony. This is a great way to celebrate their special day, but also a great way to support HRC's work.

Each donation made in honor of a couple's wedding or commitment ceremony will be recognized with a personalized acknowledgment to the couple, as a symbol of their family and friends' love and celebration of their union, as well as a recognition of your commitment to equality.
