Community Discussion Guidelines

All participants in HRC’s social networking features, blog commenting, and other forums are required to follow these rules, in addition to HRC Privacy Policy and Copyright Ownership:

HRC is proud to add a community discussion feature to the HRC blog. We hope this change will provide a more inclusive and interactive outlet for our blog readers.

We welcome members of the public of all different backgrounds to voice thoughts and opinions on our blog but any comments that are offensive to the online community, including blatant expressions of bigotry, racism, abusiveness, vulgarity or profanity are not acceptable and may be removed.

We acknowledge and look forward to serious criticism and open debate, but reserve the right to remove personal attacks against users or authors.

We also reserve the right to remove statements that are perceived as threatening, harassing, bullying, defaming, or obscene.

In order to protect you and other blog users, please respect the privacy of the community. Do not share personally identifiable information through HRC’s commenting platforms.

Taking part in blog discussion means you agree not to post comments that misrepresent the organization and you also agree not to upload, post or otherwise transmit any material that contains false or misleading information.

We request that you only upload or post comments that generally pertain to the designated topic or theme of any blog post.

The blog is not an appropriate place to advertise a business or promote commercial products. These types of postings will be removed along with spam.

Keep in mind that participants in HRC’s social networking, blog and other forums do not reflect the opinions of HRC.
