Help Elect Fair Minded Candidates and Remember to Vote on Nov 4th

Get out and vote! November 4th is the day to make your voice heard.
This is the year for fair-minded leadersip.
This is the year for LGBT equality.

 

This is the year to win!

 

Before Election Day:

  • Remind your friends to vote with a little help from HRC!
  • Volunteer!
    Candidates who see you working for them will know that they need to work for you; just head over to the campaign office of a candidate you support. Whether you have a day, an afternoon, or an hour, it will make all the difference in the world. Don't forget to wear your HRC gear so they know their LGBT consitiuents are behind them.

     

    On November 4th, Election Day:

     

  • VOTE!
  • Then make sure your friends, family, and co-workers do the same. Offer to take them with you if they need a ride.
  • Learn about voting in FL!
  • Find your local polling place!
  • Read more about the candidates and issues that HRC supports.

The Tampa Steering Committe has energized its members, and we have a mission--to become a major

Join us!

force for equality in the Tampa Bay area. Among our goals is to attract like-minded members of the community in order to spread the word of equality, to increase our political voice, and to begin an aggressive event calender. We want to engage as many of you as possible to become empowered LGBTQQA citizens in our cities, our state, and our country!

In order for us to be successful, we need your help. Volunteers have already stepped up to the plate and taken the lead, but many more people will make a significant difference. "We have built a strong foundation. Now, we are looking to build upon that and complete our structure. We still have numerous leadership roles to fill, and we are always looking for energetic people to help us with our mission," says Kim Stagg, a leader within the Tampa Bay Steering Committee.

The Committe is already busy planning Bowling for Equality, a yearly event that has attracted hundreds of people from all over the area. Also, numerous political opportunities are available if politics is your forte.
