Human Rights Campaign fights for LGBT equality in Minnesota alongside state and local groups and lawmakers.

The fight to win marriage equality in Minnesota was years in the making. In 2012, HRC worked to elect Governor Mark Dayton and other pro-equality candidates and to defeat the anti-marriage constitutional amendment that would have barred marriage equality in the North Star State. Find out more about HRC’s efforts to help secure marriage for same-sex couples in Minnesota.
