Alison Delpercio is the associate director of the Children, Youth & Families Program at the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, where she advocates for LGBT-welcoming and affirming practices within child welfare agencies and broader youth-serving organizations. Alison provides organizations with in-depth technical assistance in improving their practice with LGBT youth and families. She manages the administration of the All Children – All Families Agency Self-Assessment and the production of program resources, both online and in print.
Prior to this role, Alison managed the Healthcare Equality Index, HRC’s annual survey and report focusing on U.S. hospitals. She worked closely with hospital administrators across the country to ensure they implement the foundational policies and training essential to providing LGBT patient-centered care.
Alison also serves on the Honorary Advisory Board of COLAGE, an organization dedicated to creating community and advocating for people with LGBTQ parents.
She is currently pursuing a Masters of Social Work degree at the University of Maryland Baltimore. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health and Society with a Minor in Political Science and a Certificate of Management Studies from the University of Rochester.
