HRC Partners with the PRIDE Study

Produced by the HRC Foundation

HRC is proud to partner with The PRIDE Study - the first nationwide, large-scale, long-term health study of people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ+), or another sexual or gender minority.

The Human Rights Campaign Foundation is proud to partner with The PRIDE Study. The PRIDE Study is the first nationwide, large-scale, long-term health study of people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ+), or another sexual or gender minority. The PRIDE Study is run by LGBTQ+ doctors and researchers for LGBTQ+ people.

Through The PRIDE Study, LGBTQ+ people share their health history and experiences using a unique iPhone app or web-based platform (coming 2016). The PRIDE Study also uses this technology to ensure our community’s voices are heard – giving you the ability to propose research questions and health topics to be studied.

By participating in The PRIDE Study over time, your unique story teaches us about the health and well-being of LGBTQ+ people like you. Your story, combined with that of thousands of other LGBTQ+ people, will help the researchers understand the unique health care disparities, strengths, and resiliencies of our communities. Knowing this will help us to improve the health of LGBTQ+ people.

Take PRIDE and help us better understand LGBTQ+ health.
