This webinar goes over the “nuts and bolts” information of participating in All Children – All Families (ACAF) and completing an agency self-assessment; including answers to FAQs, tips for successful completion, and an overview of the Benchmarks of LGBTQ Cultural Competency. This will be especially helpful for agencies that would like to begin or are just starting the ACAF process, and participating agencies that may want a refresher on completing the agency self-assessment.
Introduction to LGBTQ Competency (90-minutes) - Register now
- Wednesday, August 9th from 2:30 - 4:00 PM ET
This webinar covers foundational information related to serving LGBTQ youth and families. The introductory nature of this webinar makes it perfect for new staff members who have not yet received LGBTQ-specific training and any staff members interested in a review of basic LGBTQ terms, concepts, research related to both LGBTQ youth and LGBTQ-headed families, and best practices in creating an LGBTQ-inclusive environment. This also serves as a "pre-training" webinar for agencies planning to receive in-person training through ACAF.
