NOM political director to head CA’s anti-trans effort (#MoreThanMarriage)

In addition to serving as the campaign manager for most of the anti-equality ballot campaigns in recent memory (including Proposition 8), Frank Schubert also serves as the National Organization For Marriage's political director. But now, as part of NOM's ongoing effort to admit that its true agenda goes far beyond marriage, the org's top political voice is taking on a new role as head of the campaign attempting to roll back transgender protections in California schools!
The so-called "Privacy for All Students" coalition makes the announcement on its official site:
"The coalition also announced that Frank Schubert of Mission Public Affairs, LLC has agreed to advise the coalition during the referendum qualification phase and will manage the campaign once it qualifies for the ballot."
This of course builds on Schubert's earlier commentary in which he just flat-out denies that gender identity exists (i.e. denies sound scientific opinion). But more than even that, this builds on NOM's ongoing drift toward generalized anti-LGBT politicking. Oh, and of course animus.
