NOM Education Fund: ‘Same-sex attraction’ ‘not good and not consistent with God’s law’

July 31, 2013, by Jeremy Hooper

Jennifer Roback Morse, the person who the National Organization For Marriage's Education Fund pays six figures a year in order to educate America (and particularly young people) about marriage, continues to tell gay people that celibacy is our only option.  This time, she's doing it right smack dab on one of NOM's very own branded properties:

This is getting out of hand.  Folks, NOM doesn't want to stop at just our marriage rights!  A senior staffer is coming right out and admitting it: NOM, a Catholic organization, wants all of us and our nation's laws to conform to the idea that "same-sex attractions" must be stifled and people who have such "attractions" have no other choice but to live a chaste life.

That wouldn't be such a major thing if this were just some Catholic organization that is serving those who sign up.  But it's not.  This is the organization to whom the entire conservative movement has entrusted the modern "protect marriage" fight.  This is the organization that is trying to shape our state and federal laws.  This is the organization that is trying to take rights away from taxpaying citizens of this supposedly church/state-separated nation.

And Jennifer Roback Morse is one of their top voices.
