Jennifer Roback Morse of course heads up NOM's 501c3, the Ruth Institute. She doesn't just want to stop marriages—she wants gays to live a lifetime of celibacy and wants all faiths to adopt her view:

The lid is completely off! Maggie Gallagher can no longer deny it. This is one of NOM's top three voices—someone who earns a six figure salary from NOM— telling anyone who will listen, in the clearest of language, that gays must not be sexual. This is HUGE!

So she and her husband adopted a baby from Romania. I'm shocked that she would intentionally rob a child of his biological mother and father!!!

People like Ms. Morse are incredibly sexually-repressed. And this of course, is ingrained in them by their religion.

It's truly a sad state of affairs. It's denial of one of the very core aspects of one's humanity for the sake of chasing after an unsubstantiated fantasy after-life, and greatly degrading the ONE life that we know for sure that we have as human beings.

Of course, these people then feel the need to impose that sexual-repression onto others, in large part because they feel that if THEY are going to lead sexually-repressed lives then so should others. And also in part because they view others being open and honest about their human-sexuality as putting them (and those they WANT to also be sexually repressed) in an environment of temptation.

Of course, people like Ms. Roeback and the organizations they represent should be instructive to legislators, courts, and the people that they are NOT honest brokers on any subject as it relates to human-sexuality and associated relationships; being informed overridingly by dogmatic religious belief. (The only problem being that still WAY too many people in society also want their fantasy religious beliefs to be propped up - including many legislators and judges).

That is part of their, "long, and honored, and rich tradition"... plus the fact that they cover it up, and attempt to shield themselves from prosecution...

I always have to wonder if the reason that her child was adopted is because she has no interest in having married, opposite-sex sexual relations... and I immediately then wonder why she is celibate??

"Mystical body of Christ" ?
To force someone to be alone and unloved except by a "mystical" entity is cruel.
This is NOT protecting marriage.
How long before the law shuts them down? Takes their tax exemptions away? Closes their offices and takes their computers and files?
These people have pushed the envelope by spreading lies across the country, saying nasty and cruel things, claim to know about the LGBT population when they clearly don't, and hide how they are funded. Why on earth are they allowed to continue?

The arrogence of JRM is simply appauling. "Listen to us Catholics we know it all." People who pledge a life of chastity, Priests and nuns have a calling the are responding to. Th literally force celibacy onto people without that calling is cruel. Easy for JRM to say she goes home to her nice warm bed and snuggles with her husband every night. Do as I say and not as I do was never more apt.
