No provision of South Carolina state law explicitly addresses gender identity-based violence or other similar issues under the safe schools law. However, South Carolina has anti-bullying, intimidation and harassment provisions which generally apply to all students.  S.C. CODE ANN. § 59-63-130 (2006)
