Oregon law recognizes hate crimes motivated by the victim's gender identity. Oregon Equality Act, Public Law Number 100 (2007) (defining sexual orientation to include gender identity and amending O.R.S. § 166.155 and § 166.165

Sexual orientation protected? Yes
Oregon law recognizes hate crimes motivated by the victim's race, color, religion, national origin and sexual orientation, and contains a reporting requirement. ORS § 166.165 (2001); ORS § 181.550 (2001).
