No provision of Nebraska law explicitly addresses gender identity-based discrimination. Nebraska prohibits discrimination based on categories that include "race, color, religion, national origin, familial status or sex" in areas of employment, public accommodations and housing. R.R.S. Neb. §§ 48-1101 (2002); 20-132 (2002); 20-318 (2002).
