No provision of Kentucky state law explicitly addresses gender identity-based violence or other similar issues under the safe schools law. However, Kentucky does provide generally that any student who assaults, batters, abuses or threatens force or violence upon another student may be suspended or expelled from school. KRS § 158.150 (2001).
