Candace Gingrich, our Senior Youth & Campus Outreach manager, has taken off (with our summer interns in tow) to attend the Campus Progress National Conference, an annual conference sponsored by the progressive Center for American Progress. The conference is being held all day today and Candace was a panelist during one of today's discussions.
HRC Condemns Soulforce Arrests And Intimidation In Mississippi
Today the Human Rights Campaign joined with Lambda Legal, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, the National Center for Lesbian Rights and the Log Cabin Republicans in sending a letter to Clinton, Miss., Mayor Rosemary Aultman that condemned the intimidation and harassment of a group of Soulforce Equality Riders by Clinton police officials.
