No provision of Georgia state law explicitly addresses gender/gender identity-based violence or other similar issues under the same schools law. O.C.G.A. § 20-2-131 (2001)
Protects gay and lesbian students? No
Georgia has a general school safety provision that provides students with a "safe school environment . . . without fear of violence or intimidation." The code specifies only that students shall not be refused admission into or excluded from any public school on account of race, creed, color or national origin. O.C.G.A. § 20-2-131 (2001)
