Sample Equal Employment Opportunity Policies
HRC seeks a clear declaration of non-discrimination toward GLBT employees by including both "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" in an employer’s primary non-discrimination or EEO statement. HRC does not view anti-harassment or other corporate statements alone as sufficiently inclusive policy of non-discrimination towards employees and job applicants.
"Capital One prohibits discrimination with respect to the hiring or promotion of individuals, conditions of employment, disciplinary and discharge practices or any other aspect of employment on the basis of sex, race, color, age, national origin, religion, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy or veteran status."
