Corporate Equality Index
The Human Rights Campaign Foundation's seventh annual Corporate Equality Index shows an unprecedented 260 major U.S. businesses earned the top rating of 100 percent, up from 195 last year - an increase of one third. Detailed information on each employer rated is included in the report and on our employer database under "Employers with Corporate Equality Index rating."

About the Corporate Equality Index Survey and Report
The HRC Foundation's CEI report, released each fall, provides an in-depth analysis and rating of large U.S. employers and their policies and practices pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees.

Recognition for Participating Businesses
Beyond the CEI report, businesses rated 100% are recognized in the companion "Best Places to Work" list, released at the beginning of each calendar year, and are invited to apply for the HRC Award for Workplace Equality Innovation, which recognizes and innovative programs and initiatives that drive equality in the workplace for LGBT workers.
All consumer-oriented businesses are included in our annual "Buying for Equality" guide, released in time for the holiday shopping season in mid-November.
