Blessings in Our Lives
We are honored to be their parents. They are the two bravest individuals that I have ever met. I pray that they may both continue to thrive and to become the wonderful men that I know that they can be.
A Full, Loving Household
Our call came in November 2006 the same day we were licensed. Could we provide respite care for three siblings (ages 5, 3 and 2) for ten days? Sure, we said, not realizing the children would wrap themselves around our hearts and eventually move into our home as our forever family.
A Forever Family
Ian was only supposed to be in my foster home for 3-6 months, but his goal was changed from reunification to adoption soon after he moved in. I could not imagine my life without Ian, so I pursued the adoption track. On November 14, 2005 we legally made our family "a forever family."
