Organizational Self-Assessment
A series of questions appear throughout the Promising Practices Guide to serve as a self-assessment of cultural competence of your agency or organization in working with GLBT-headed families. One administrator, manager or director from an organization/agency should complete the assessment with input, as needed, from other staff members. A task force or advisory committee within an agency may be a helpful tool in gathering information for the assessment and in making improvements.
After you complete this confidential assessment, you may enter the data online through the All Children – All Families website; Dr. Gary Mallon of Hunter College School of Social Work will analyze your responses and provide you with one hour of consultation to discuss action steps to improve your agency’s practices.
Powered by WufooCongratulations! You have completed the self-assessment questions in this Promising Practices Guide. Thank you for your interest and commitment.
