All Children - All Families
Finding permanent families for children by promoting fairness for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender foster and adoptive parents.
The HRC Family Project launched the All Children – All Families initiative to expand the number of qualified, loving families for waiting children and youth. The two main goals of this initiative are:To promote policies that welcome GLBT prospective parents through improved cultural competence by adoption and foster care agencies (public and private).
To educate and engage the GLBT community in opportunities for foster and adoptive parenting.
All Children-All Families is supported by a grant from the Freddie Mac Foundation. As the flagship of Freddie Mac's philanthropy program, the Foundation is dedicated to creating hope and opportunity for children, youth and their families.

- All Children – All Families Promising Practices Guide
A comprehensive guide with examples of effective practices for working with GLBT foster and adoptive parents. It features sample policies and tips from leaders of welcoming agencies, researchers in the field and GLBT adoptive and foster parents. Also within the Guide are 12 benchmarks that measure success in working with GLBT families. Once an agency reaches at least nine of the 12 it will earn the All Children—All Families seal. - All Children – All Families Agency Assessment
This agency survey measures an agency’s performance on key criteria related to policies and practices with GLBT-headed families, and offers recommendations for improvement. - Organizational Letters of Support for All Children - All Families
Many organizations at the forefront of adoption issues in the United States have supported All Children - All Families, recognizing that they share a common purpose with this initiative: finding permanent families for children. - All Children- All Families Agency Database
This database will provide online guidance to prospective parents, with a special focus on agencies that excel in welcoming GLBT families.
