IOC Sponsor Watch

In light of the upcoming 2014 Sochi Olympic Games, HRC is calling on heads of the top sponsors of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to condemn the anti-LGBT Russian law outlawing “homosexual propaganda.” Beyond this group of IOC sponsors, other major corporations are taking a stand against the rollback of LGBT equality in Russia and elsewhere.

The resource below reflects specific actions taken or not taken by IOC sponsors with regard to the six areas HRC has outlined here. Public statements in support of equality must be proactive, rather than media responses, and can be sent to HRC’s Workplace Equality Program to be reflected in this resource.
