The Human Rights Campaign represents a force of more than 1.5 million members and supporters nationwide. As the largest national lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender civil rights organization, HRC envisions an America where LGBT people are ensured of their basic equal rights, and can be open, honest and safe at home, at work and in the community.


Jennifer Pike

Public Policy Advocate

Jennifer Pike joined the Human Rights campaign in February 2012 and serves as HRC’s Public Policy Advocate. Her policy portfolio focuses on LGBT youth, including education, school safety and homelessness. She also handles veterans and immigration policy. Jennifer is the primary contact for the South and Southwest regions, which include: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Utah.

Prior to joining HRC, Jennifer worked on Capitol Hill as well as on a number of congressional campaigns. Jennifer has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Indiana University.
