The Human Rights Campaign represents a force of more than 1.5 million members and supporters nationwide. As the largest national lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer civil rights organization, HRC envisions a world where LGBTQ people are ensured of their basic equal rights, and can be open, honest and safe at home, at work and in the community.

Alison Delpercio

Deputy Director, HRC Children, Youth & Families Program

Alison Delpercio is the deputy director of the Children, Youth & Families Program at the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, where she advocates for LGBTQ-welcoming and affirming practices within child welfare agencies and broader youth-serving organizations. Alison manages HRC's All Children - All Families project and provides organizations with in-depth training and technical assistance on improving their practice with LGBTQ youth and families.

Prior to this role, Alison managed the Healthcare Equality Index, HRC’s annual survey and report focusing on U.S. hospitals. She worked closely with hospital administrators across the country to ensure they implement the foundational policies and training essential to providing LGBTQ patient-centered care.

Alison also serves on the Honorary Advisory Board of COLAGE, an organization dedicated to creating community and advocating for people with LGBTQ parents.

She is currently pursuing a Masters of Social Work degree at the University of Maryland Baltimore. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health and Society with a Minor in Political Science and a Certificate of Management Studies from the University of Rochester.
