When will I get my card?
Upon approval, you can expect to see the card in about 3-4 weeks in the mail. If you want to check the status of your application, you can do so online by going to Bank of America’s main website, http://www.bankofamerica.com/. You can then do a search for “application status” in the main search function. The first link from that search should take you to a page where you enter your email address, social security number, and your mother’s maiden name to grant you access to check your application status. You can also call Bank of America at 1.800.242.5722.

How does HRC benefit from me participating?
HRC is paid when any new account is opened! We also get a small residual of all the money our cardholders spend on purchases. Combined, these two factors contribute significantly to HRC.

How does the companion airfare work?
To qualify for this offer, you must use your new account for any combination of purchase, balance transfer, or cash advance transactions totaling at least $100 that post to your account within 90 days of the account open date. Within 6 to 8 weeks after qualifying, you will receive a certificate with information and PIN number entitling you to purchase one adult round-trip, coach-class airline ticket and receive a ticket for a companion. There is a one year expiration on the companion offer.

What is the WorldPoints® program, and how do I redeem points for rewards?
Every $1 you spend on purchases earns you 1 point. Once you begin to accrue points, you can redeem them through the WorldPoints program. Rewards start at 2,500 points, and include cash, travel with no blackout dates, hotel benefits, car rentals, merchandise, gift certificates and more. Points are valid for 5 years, so make sure you know how long they have been accruing! You will only acquire points for purchases made on the card. To redeem your points, you will need to call the WorldPoints program at 1.800.434.8313.

May I put my partner or other party on the card?
Yes, you can have a co-applicant or authorized user on your card.

No, there is no annual fee associated with the HRC credit card.

May I transfer balances from other cards?
Yes! Please call Bank of America customer service to learn more - 1.800.421.2110. Please note that you will not earn points for any balance transfers that you make.

Will my local Bank of America® branch be able to answer questions about the card?
Absolutely! Beginning June 12, 2009, the HRC credit card will be offered in any and all Bank of America banking centers across the U.S.
