2017 HRC Austin Gala

We are thrilled to announce our HRC Austin Gala Dinner for 2017!

The Human Rights Campaign Austin 2017 Gala Dinner and Auction brings together over 700 HRC members, friends, family and allies for an evening of celebration and inspiration in Austin. Featuring a cocktail reception, an extensive silent auction, an elegant dinner (the attire is black tie/festive), live entertainment and thought-provoking speakers and guests, the event consistently attracts some of the state’s top figures in politics and entertainment. Our work for justice isn't over yet. And we can never have too many people advocating on behalf of equality and we’re asking for your help. Lets help move Equality Forward and have Equality for All.

We are also thrilled to announce that the HRC is honoring Melora Hardin with the "Ally for Equality Award"

Melora Hardin was recently seen as Tammy Cashman in the Golden Globe winning Amazon hit series Transparent, for which she was nominated for an Emmy in 2016. She is currently set to star in a new Freeform series, Issues (working title), playing a strong but kind editor in chief at a high end fashion magazine. Melora has been acting professionally since childhood and is best known as Jan on The Office, however on any given day you can probably catch her on re-runs of Friends, Scandal, Magnum P.I., Murder She Wrote, Love Boat, Monk, Little House On The Prairie... to name just a few. Feature films include 17 Again, 27 Dresses, The Hannah Montana Movie, and YOU (which she also directed) and she just completed starring in the first ever one woman movie, Golden Vanity which is currently being submitted to festivals. Stage includes Chicago on Broadway as Roxie Hart, Fantine in Les Miserables at The Hollywood Bowl, and Richard II and Appropriate at The Mark Taper Forum.  Connect with Melora on Twitter @melorahardin and Instagram @meloraDhardin or at www.melora.com

Be A Table Captain - Help Us Get the Word Out
Table Captains are the heart of the dinner’s attendance. Each Table Captain strives to fill a table of 10, creating their own guest list and spending an inspirational evening surrounded with friends and family. If you’d like to select the nine people who will sit at your table, just become a Table Captain. And Table Captains are not financially obligated to fill the table. To get in contact email: tablecaptains@hrcuaustin.org
