HRC Atlanta Gala Dinner

Learn more about the 2013 Atlanta Gala Dinner at their website.

Table Captains

Table Captains are the backbone of ensuring a succesful, well-attended Gala Dinner each year.  As the official recruiters and promoters for the dinner, we partner with our Table Captains to help spread the word about the work of HRC in order to encourage friends and colleagues to purchase tickets to attend the dinner.  Any individual, partners/couple, company, affinity group, or charity group can serve as a Table Captain.

Each table has 10 seats that the Table Captain is encouraged to fill.  The earlier you fill your table, the higher priority you have in table location. Table Captains who fill their table (or pay for it in full) prior to the Pre-Dinner Reception held in March 2013 will be able to select their table placement at the Reception.

Table Captains are not required to pre-purchase seats and are NOT responsible to purchase tickets at their tables if they don't sell.  There is no financial down-side to becoming a Table Captain!

Contact us today at ATLHRCCaptains@gmail.com to sign up to be a Table Captain.

Volunteer

If you've always wanted to get involved, here is your chance. In this time of unprecedented change and uncertainty, our opportunity to make a difference has never been greater. The HRC Gala Dinner is an excellent opportunity to get involved with your community! Whether you volunteered for the dinner before or never volunteered for anything, we've got a role for you. Opportunities range from organizing the event to working only on the day of the Dinner.

For opportunities to get involved prior to the dinner, email our volunteer co-chairs Trinke Vaughn at trinkev@yahoo.com. In order to volunteer, you'll be asked to fill out this very brief survey here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dDF3YnlhV1dvdzljMm9Xb0dMWi1iOXc6MQ.

Day Prior and Day of the Event Volunteers are the engine that makes this event possible. “Day Of” volunteers work primarily on the day of the event at the hotel venue. "Day Prior" volunteers meet at 6:00 pm on Friday to assist with set up of the world-class silent auction room. Responsibilities will vary depending on the need. From set up to break down, “Day Of” volunteers do a little of everything. This is a great role for first-time volunteers who would like to contribute but aren't sure what they would like to do. Easy, fun and a free t-shirt!
