The election night celebration at Capital City Brewery is already in full swing! The bar is packed with Washington's fair-minded and stylishly coiffed. I would say that at least a third of the crowd is also in campaign t-shirts -- these people are clearly engaged and involved.
So far, we've had good news on the Strickland race -- he's been a longtime HRC endorsee, and also good news Bernie Sanders in Vermont (home of Ben & Jerry's and civil unions).
More to come as the night goes on -- if people are planning on attending tonight's bash in Washington I'd recommend getting here sooner rather than later as the house is quickly filling.
(Also, funny story, they're testing the fire alarms at the brewery this evening, so the alarms are going off at regular intervals -- but please ignore them, they're largely ceremonial).
