It's a gorgeous day here in South Florida, but we're not letting that distract us from doing our jobs. HRC's volunteers in Florida are still going strong, fighting for U.S. House candidate Ron Klein, who's running strong against anti-gay incumbent Clay Shaw.
Last week, we held a rally for GLBT and straight Klein supporters -- and we got a personal visit from Joe Solmonese, president of HRC. Plus, Klein told us all about how strongly he supports GLBT equality, and what a big help HRC has been to him during his campaign. After the rally, we held a quick phone bank, reminding people across the district that Klein is the fair-minded choice for South Florida.
Thanks to HRC volunteers who are still out working across the country -- from our friends in Palm Springs to those brave souls on the ground in South Dakota! Stay warm, and remember, we're fighting the good fight!
