Just moments ago, the Hawaii House Committee on Judiciary and the Committee on Finance will began hearing testimony on SB1, the marriage equality bill. Yesterday, the bill overwhelmingly passed the State Senate with a vote of 20 to 4. Click here to watch the testimony live.
Over 3000 people are scheduled to testify in support and opposition of the bill and hundreds of folks are already at the capitol, visiting with their legislators and waving signs to passers by on their morning commute.
It’s not too late to stand with the majority of Hawaii residents and send in your message in support of SB1. Click here to send a message to your Hawaii House Representative.
