In just a few short hours, the Hawaii State Senate is set to begin debate on SB1, the Marriage Equality Bill. On Monday, over 1800 people testified in support and opposition of the bill. Yesterday, the bill passed a second reading by the senate. Third reading and final passage is the last major hurdle for the bill in the Senate before it is considered by the House on Thursday. The debate begins at 11:30 am local time. Click here to watch the historic vote on marriage equality.

It's not too late to make your voice heard. Both the Hawaii House Judiciary and the House Finance is scheduled to hear the bill on Thursday morning at 10 am local time. Click here to send a note to your Hawaii State House members in support of this historic legislation.
