We’ve had a lively week in Colorado, working hard to get out the vote just one month ahead of the elections.

On Thursday, we partnered with Hillary for America as HRC moderated a panel focused on the two-year anniversary of marriage equality in Colorado. We talked with community leaders, including Colorado state Sens. Lucia Guzman and Pat Steadman, who spoke about the incremental approach, from domestic partnerships to civil unions to full marriage equality passed by legislation on October 7th, 2014. On Sunday, HRC joined with local organizations, including One Colorado, to host a debate watch party. We had a full house at a local restaurant, with over 200 attendees filling the venue to capacity and overflowing onto the patio. HRC will continue to urge every Coloradan to #turnOUT and vote, and to vote pro-equality the election season.

HRC is counting on our members and supporters to mobilize and #turnOUT the pro-equality vote in November. HRC members are volunteering thousands of hours for endorsed candidates and are visible at campaign events across Colorado and across the country.  Please contact us at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) to learn more about our work in Colorado and to volunteer!
