Why is anyone still debating this? Nearly seven in ten Americans – including 56% of Republicans – believe the government should guarantee that no one should be handed a pink slip just for being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT).

But the U.S. House has yet to act.

That's where you come in. We're leading a massive grassroots effort to pass the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) in the U.S. House, and your voice is our most powerful weapon.

From our champion lawmakers to those who have yet to support ENDA – every member of the House needs to hear from us right now to show the majority of Americans want to move this bill forward.

Send a message to Congress calling on them to support workplace equality.

HRC supporters like you are going to make the difference in this campaign, and we need your letter now to back up our efforts across the country.

HRC is the lead partner in Americans for Workplace Opportunity, the bipartisan campaign to pass ENDA. We won an amazing victory for ENDA in the Senate, and now we've committed $1.3 million to the $2.3 million effort to pass it in the House, which will focus on 30 congressional districts in 21 states, convincing key representatives to vote for equality in the workplace.

Last year, you helped make historic progress on ENDA by helping the bill pass the U.S. Senate for the first time. But in order for us to win one for the history books, we need this fully-inclusive ENDA to be taken up for a vote in the House.

But the House is going to be even tougher than the U.S. Senate. That's why we commissioned a GOP pollster to conduct a survey that found over 50% support for ENDA in every single state. It's why we've signed on more than 100 leading businesses to publicly support ENDA. It's why we released a study showing that no GOP state legislator who ever voted for LGBT workplace protections lost their re-election.

Any bill that has this much public support across the political spectrum can pass, if we put pressure on the right lawmakers. Take action now.
