You won’t want to miss this rant from Dallas sportscaster Dale Hansen, who takes down every argument about whether Michael Sam would make things “uncomfortable” in the National Football League.

Sam, a Division I college football player, made history this week when he came out as gay.

Hansen, of Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA, mentions a few examples of the types of players who are welcome in the NFL - those who been charged with drunk driving, domestic abuse and more - and says with obvious sarcasm, "You love another man? Well, now you've gone too far.”

He also makes points about segregation in the league.

"It wasn't that long ago when we were being told that black players couldn't play in 'our' games because it would be 'uncomfortable.' And even when they finally could, it took several more years before a black man played quarterback. Because we weren't "comfortable" with that, either."

Show your support for Michael Sam and his courageous decisions by sending him a virtual high-five now.
