After our morning check-in call Karl and I packed up Tony (our trusty PT Cruiser) and headed to Port Jefferson, one of the Westernmost points in District 1. One hour later we pulled into the beautiful village of Port Jeff, as the locals call it.

After a celebration dinner with NH Freedom to Marry's Mo Baxley and NH Democratic State Party Chair Ray Buckley and others it's back in the car for a two hour drive to Portland. I will be meeting early in the morning with Equality Maine's Betsy Smith and others who will be forming a winning campaign to defend marriage equality at the ballot box in Maine this November. We helped win marriage in New Hampshire and we'll help defend it in Maine.
