Next Wednesday, Love and Pride LGBT wedding jewelry creator Udi Behr will host a gathering outside of the Supreme Court to reflect on the long struggle for LGBT rights and the work that remains to achieve full equality nationwide.
Organizers plan to deliver a thank you card and 1,138 roses to the steps of the Supreme Court. Each rose represents one of the many federal rights, benefits and responsibilities that are still denied to same-sex couples who cannot marry in 37 states.
Love and Pride has also created a limited edition equality pendant exclusively to help raise funds for the Human Rights Campaign. All net proceeds of the pendant support HRC in the fight for equality.
For more on the event and to sign the thank you card on Wednesday outside of the Supreme Court, visit theLove and Pride event page.
