Tony AwardHRC supporters, including Neil Patrick Harris, Alan Cumming and Audra McDonald, are expected to perform and win big at the Tony Awards this Sunday. The 68th Tony Awards, which honors theater professionals for their work on Broadway, will be held in New York City at Radio City Music Hall.

Neil Patrick Harris, who dazzled as the host of the award show for four years, is expected to win for his portrayal of transsexual punk rock singer in the musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch. The show is also nominated for Best Revival of a Musical.

HRC Equality Award recipient and openly bisexual actor Alan Cumming, who won a Tony award for his performance as the Emcee in a Cabaret revival in 1998, is reprising the role on Broadway and will perform with the cast of Cabaret at the ceremony.

HRC supporter and Equality Ally Audra McDonald could make history Sunday by winning her sixth Tony Award for her performance as Billie Holliday in Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill.
