Jodie Foster made headlines by speaking openly about her “modern family” while accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award at last night’s Golden Globes.
And throughout the night, other stars who have spoken boldly on behalf of LGBT Americans and their families were honored for their achievements. HRC Ally Award-winner Anne Hathaway won Best Supporting Actress and thanked fellow HRC honoree Sally Field for the inspiration she’s provided.
Julianne Moore, another longtime friend of HRC and supporter of LGBT equality, took home Best Actress in a Mini-Series or Movie for her role as Sarah Palin in Game Change.
Congratulations to last night’s winners and thanks to all those who lend their voices to the fight for equality.
