After nearly two weeks on the ground, the field organizers with the Americans for Workplace Opportunity campaign invite you to get involved locally in the campaign field efforts.  There’s nothing like the feeling of accomplishment that occurs when you’ve just had a successful conversation with another Ohioan about why passing ENDA is important to you.  And we want all Ohioans to be able to have that feeling.
The Americans for Workplace Opportunity campaign, led by HRC and with our national and state partners, including Equality Ohio, have prioritized securing Senator Rob Portman’s YES vote when ENDA comes to the senate floor this fall.  Senator Portman came out in support of marriage equality this winter when he announced one of his sons is gay.  We believe Senator Portman will also do the right thing on ENDA, and we must put in the effort on the ground to make that so.
