YouTube is #ProudToLove the LGBT Community
June 27, 2013 by Maureen McCarty, HRC Senior Digital Strategist
YouTube announced today that it will celebrate LGBT Pride Month with a complete takeover of its spotlight channel.
Over the next two days, the channel will exclusively showcase a collection of the top LGBT-themed content, and ask users to upload videos responding to the question: “Who, what or why are you #ProudToLove?”
Though LGBT Pride Month is coming to a close, YouTube aims to serve as a place where the LGBT and allied community can continue to share stories and help to change the world.
