White House to launch new HIV/AIDS campaign

The White House announced today via press release that the Obama Administration will launch a new $45 million communications campaign tomorrow to fight HIV/AIDS. In collaboration with the Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control, the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation and civil rights and HIV/AIDS groups, the administration will outline its plans at a 1pm press conference on Tuesday. The White House is calling the initiative the first federally funded national domestic HIV/AIDS campaign in almost twenty years. More to come...
