White House Graphic Details President Obama’s Commitment to Judicial Diversity

Fresh off the news that Pamela Chen made history as the first openly gay Asian Pacific American to be confirmed to a federal judgeship, the White House released an infographic detailing President Obama’s continued commitment to creating a judicial pool that reflects the diversity of the nation it serves.
President Obama has nominated four of the five openly gay individuals confirmed to federal judgeships with lifetime tenure. Four more openly gay nominees are currently pending in the Senate.
