One of the best opportunities for a marriage vote in the NY state Senate is Westchester County legislator Mike Kaplowitz. His District includes parts of Westchester, Putnam, and Dutchess Counties.    

Even with my native New Yorker bias, I can say that it is beautiful country up there. Meeting with Mike Kaplowitz at an event in Westchester recently, I got to hear directly from him how deep his commitment is to marriage equality and fairness for all. He knows his constituents, he knows the issues, he is a smart and hard-working and he will represent his district well in Albany.
