Watch: New Ads Describe Dangers of NC’s Amendment One

In recent weeks, we’ve seen President Obama, Gov. Bev Perdue and a growing majority of North Carolinians speak out against the discriminatory Amendment One.
Amendment One would write discrimination into the constitution by barring committed and loving same-sex couples from marrying.
Two new TV ads remind us that Amendment One would also strip away vital benefits and protections currently provided for other unmarried North Carolina individuals and their children.

HRC is proud to be a part of Protect All North Carolina Families, a coalition of business groups, faith leaders, families and individuals dedicated to defeating this amendment at the polls on May 8 and protecting North Carolina from the harms it represents.
