Volunteers in Minnesota Push Hard as Election Day Approaches
November 1, 2010 by Carolyn Simon, Deputy Director of Digital Media
It’s make or break time in Minnesota, and HRC staff and volunteers are digging in for the final get-out-the-vote push. With voters heading to the polls tomorrow, we’re taking nothing for granted. We had hundreds of volunteers knocking on doors and making calls over the weekend. Our team recently expanded to include Paul Smith, HRC’s Comptroller who works remotely for HRC here in Minneapolis. Paul is taking time away from crunching numbers to help with our GOTV efforts. We recently spotted him at “Packet Land”, the campaign’s massive pre-Election Day prep operation. We agree that stuffing walk packets beats crunching numbers any day. To get plugged in here on the ground, I hope you will email me at email@example.com. Just one more day to go….
